Rebecca & Thomas chose the local recorders office in downtown Napa to have their elopement ceremony. With me as their solo witness, photographer & friend in attendance, they said I do in a private room. Rebecca chose to have her something Blue be her adorable coat, and her bouquet be her something new.
Kobe & Grace are such sweethearts! This elopement was a whirlwind for everyone to plan, but my goodness did it turn out so pretty! They had been engaged for quite some time according to their family, but recently received orders overseas, and decided to pull the trigger on taking the leap into marriage so they could both serve and live together sooner. And I am THRILLED for THEM!
I adore this couple!
Jenn and Jacob met and started seeing each other while working in the same office. With a love for Rom-Coms, its obvious why these two decided a meet cute followed by deep talks and shared values was a good sign to move forward with seeing each other.
They tied the knot on July 1st, 2022 at Forest House Lodge in Foresthill, CA. Surrounded by family and friends, and precious details, Jenn and Jacob had a lovely day. The staff at the Forest House provided lovely accommodations for the happy couple, featuring a mix of DIY’d Decor/ Party Favors made by the Bride and Groom and tablescaping provided by FHL, along with the couple’s color palette of blues, yellows, soft pinks and greens.
Mary and Andrew were married surrounded by loved ones and a gorgeous redwood grove on November 19th, 2022 in Mill Valley, CA. They began their day TOGETHER and got ready side by side. The two were actually wed in secret a year or so ago, but were so happy to plan a more traditional event to include their loved ones (many of which flew in from overseas) as well.
When they met they bonded over laughter, a shared love for music and food, as well as their studies in forestry.
Tying the knot surrounded by a beautiful grove and all of their beloved was perfect for the happy couple, and I am so glad to have captured it with them.
Taylor and Eric married on April 28th, 2023 at the Vizcaya Mansion and Pavilion in Sacramento, CA.
Surrounded by their family and friends, they spent the day with happy tears, laughing and celebrating!
With a clean and modern palette (Black, white and fresh florals) and the classic setting Vizcaya offers, the ceremony and reception were a joy to behold. T & E’s vows brought many to cry and laugh in tandem. And the boisterous drinking games and shots passed at their party was matched fully by the fun and filled dance floor.
I loved the personalized details placed throughout their beautiful day. From custom named coasters, signage and more, this was a favorite wedding to add to the books for sure. 🖤
Rebecca + Jack tied the knot on the 29th of July, 2022 at Marin Art & Garden Center.
Surrounded by friends and family that traveled near and far, the couple rang in their marriage with touches of Jewish tradition and relaxing Garden Vibes throughout, it was an absolutely stunning day.
Rebecca and Jack like to spend their days together and with their wonderful dog Kacey. They enjoy hikes and visiting brewery’s, dates in Sonoma and Marin, and camping trips too. They share a love of music and actually had their first dance to Kacey Musgraves’ (I adore her too btw!) Butterflies. So many sweet moments and personal touches were included in their day to represent them as a couple.
They are a fun-loving couple, and they often visit Lake Tahoe and stay at a family cabin near our featured session location. We were also blessed to hang out with their sweet dog Gustavo. Taylor Looked so beautiful in both her black and white dresses, Eric looked handsome too and Gustavo was cute even as he took a dip in the lake. I had blast with them during their session and I can’t wait for their wedding in April 2023 at Vizcaya in Sacramento, CA!
This session was captured between 3:00-5pm and received a lot of direct light for us to work with and around. It was a fun challenge, and I am super happy with how the edits are coming out. Similar to wedding days, we don’t always get to have ideal light (Golden Hour) during portrait sessions when destinations have restrictions. With careful planning, it all worked out perfectly!
