Rebecca & Thomas chose the local recorders office in downtown Napa to have their elopement ceremony. With me as their solo witness, photographer & friend in attendance, they said I do in a private room. Rebecca chose to have her something Blue be her adorable coat, and her bouquet be her something new.
I adore this couple!
Jenn and Jacob met and started seeing each other while working in the same office. With a love for Rom-Coms, its obvious why these two decided a meet cute followed by deep talks and shared values was a good sign to move forward with seeing each other.
They tied the knot on July 1st, 2022 at Forest House Lodge in Foresthill, CA. Surrounded by family and friends, and precious details, Jenn and Jacob had a lovely day. The staff at the Forest House provided lovely accommodations for the happy couple, featuring a mix of DIY’d Decor/ Party Favors made by the Bride and Groom and tablescaping provided by FHL, along with the couple’s color palette of blues, yellows, soft pinks and greens.
They are a fun-loving couple, and they often visit Lake Tahoe and stay at a family cabin near our featured session location. We were also blessed to hang out with their sweet dog Gustavo. Taylor Looked so beautiful in both her black and white dresses, Eric looked handsome too and Gustavo was cute even as he took a dip in the lake. I had blast with them during their session and I can’t wait for their wedding in April 2023 at Vizcaya in Sacramento, CA!
This session was captured between 3:00-5pm and received a lot of direct light for us to work with and around. It was a fun challenge, and I am super happy with how the edits are coming out. Similar to wedding days, we don’t always get to have ideal light (Golden Hour) during portrait sessions when destinations have restrictions. With careful planning, it all worked out perfectly!
